Best of GotADemo:

BEST OF GOTADEMO CONTEST: We're searching for the best demos from musicians, bands, and soloists to compete in a nationwide contest judged by GotADemo users. A nationwide marketing campaign will encourage the public to select the top demos from 10 selected semi-finalists. After you register (click here) you can upload your demo and select the Music category and the appropriate SubCategory. You may upload more than one demo.

The 1st place winning artist will receive $300.00, 2nd place - $125.00, and 3rd place $50.00. Advertising begins May 15th. The 3 artists with the lowest rating will be eliminated May 19th(7 remaining), 3 more eliminated on May 26th(4 remaining), and the final 4 demos will be eligible for prizes.

"Can You Sing" / “Making of a Demo” Contest:

Six-City Audition Tour Includes Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Atlanta. To request an audition slot, Contact us (click here) , with a 200 word(max) explanation of why you should be considered. No vocal experience is necessary.

Gotademo.com, an online launch pad for emerging artists, today issued an open call for auditions as part of its “Making of a Demo” competition which will ultimately pit talented vocalists from six cities across the U.S. against one another in an online competition to determine one hometown hero. Gotademo.com invites anyone who thinks they have an undiscovered vocal talent to participate in one of the following six auditions:

• Chicago, May 31st
• Houston, June 1st
• Los Angeles, June 7th
• San Francisco, June 8th
• New York, June 14th
• Atlanta June 15th

During the auditions, contestants have two minutes to sing any song of their choice. Video of each audition will then be posted on Gotademo.com for online voting, with the highest rated video from each city going on to compete head-to-head with those from other cities. Gotademo.com will award the top contestant with a cash prize to be used toward studio time to record and produce a professional track. First place will receive $500

Gotademo.com- Demonstrate Your Talent

Gotademo contests will adhere to the following rules:

Gotademo.com randomly selects categories to initiate contests to select a demo of the month. Contest entries consist of an audio and/or video submission. Each contest will start the first day of the month. All entries must be received prior to the specified deadline, typically the last day of the month in which the contest occurrs.

During any contest period, scoring in the following rating systems will determine a winner;

• Online voting/rating will carry a 100% factor toward the selection of a contest winner

Winner(s) will be notified with the email address we have on file, within a users registration. A reply from contest winner(s), confirming their prize, is necessary to complete winners dispersements. If a winner does not reply within 5 days, any and all dispursements will be forfeited. In addition to claimed prizes, winners will also receive a public relations campaign informing the media of their demo of the month.
